The goal of this class is simple: we want expectant parents to feel confident, supported, and powerful as they ask questions, make decisions, and navigate their individual birth journey. Rooted in the Lamaze approach to pregnancy, birth and parenting, research-based information is used as the core of the discussion as we cover anatomy and physiology, stages and phases of labor, comfort measures, pain medication options and other interventions, and postpartum care of mother and baby. The small class size supports group discussion, hands-on practice, and making connections with others in a similar life stage. Designed to help you make safe and healthy choices that are best for you and your baby, this class is for everyone!
